CoCo Key in Waterbury, CT?

Has anyone been there? I am thinking of taking DS and DD for a night during "Jersey Week." The rate online is $149 for a King room for a night, the kids get free breakfast, and we would get 2 days of admission to the water park. It sounds like a GREAT deal but I would love to hear from people who have been there, if it was really fun and well-maintained. DD will be 2 and DS almost 8 when we go. Thanks!

It is very clean, very well maintained, and very well staffed. The kids will absolutely love it; the parents will hate it. It's hard to keep an eye on your kids even when it's not crowded. Your two year old will need you at all times since she won't be able to play in 3/4s of the park. I don't know how the night crowds are there, but it has been known to fill to capacity.

My kids have done several birthday parties and Girl Scout get togethers there. DH and I flip a coin over who gets to go…loser goes! I don't know if two days are necessary there, only you can decide that. But for your sanity, stay out of the arcade.

Hmmm...thanks...part of the treat would be the overnight in a hotel and my kids are total "water babies." My DD does things at Sesame Place in the play areas that moms tell me their older kids won't do...stand DIRECTLY under the buckets when they dump, for instance. I've always thought it would be fun to go somewhere indoors and get wet when it's cold out! The one in Mount Laurel is closer (and my good friend lives right there) but it is pricier for the getaway. I'll think about it. ;o)
