Cocktail Hour

Ok cocktail hour is the pre-reception right? My question is, did anyone actually serve cocktails?

My pre-reception/cocktail hour will be on the Whitehall Patio, and I quite like the idea of just serving cocktails and saving the bar until we move inside for dinner. Can this be done?

Also, does anyone know where the bar actually goes in the Whitehall Room?

i just had a bar and the fruit display, we didnt see much of it as we were taking photos etc.

We paid for the bar and guest just drank from that

As we are having a 9:00am ceremony and our "cocktail hour" pre-reception is taking place from 10:00 to 11:00 we are serving coffee, tea and champagne punch. Drinks will be available at the reception, which goes from 11:00 to 3:00. We are having a fruit display and assorted mini croissants, muffins and pastries at our pre-reception.

Sorry but can't help you on the Whitehall room.

We are having our cocktail hour in the Whitehall also (inside & out). I was told by my planner the bar will go inside to the right of the door.

I dont see why you cant just have cocktails. We are having a full bar & food.
