This is a copy of my posting on the "Who's crusing on 10/17" thred.
Sorry about not posting this earlier but we are back from our 10/17 cruise and it was Wonderful.
As some of you know, we were upgraded from a Cat. 4 cabin to a Cat. 3 Concierge cabin.
My family and I invited all our DIS friends, who were joining us on the 10/17 cruise, to our cabin (# 8102) to help us celebrate our good fortune. We had about 20 DISers in attendance and there was room for at least 40 more! No exaggeration! The veranda was big enough to play a game of half-court basketball. Not that we would because I coach Hockey and hockey is life!
To go along with the veranda, the cabin itself was first class. Beautiful wood, a full home entertainment system, more than enough room for a family of four and not to mention all the little perks that go along with the Concierge service. It was like we won the lottery . But the best thing about our cruise was meeting and talking with all the DIS members who stopped by. As I told everyone when we met you in our cabin, I probably will not remember your names but I will remember your faces and your friendship. Thank you all for coming and helping my family and I celebrate our good fortune.
To all of you who stopped by, Ive got the pictures developed and put on CD. If I can find a way to post the picture of all of us I will.
For those of you who saw the David Morgan and Chuckie show Friday night, my DW was the one near Chuckie who sang Old McDonalds E-I-E-I-O. She was wearing the Groucho Marks glasses. I might add she looked and sang beautifully!
Here is a partial list of our special friends who joined us on our cruise...
pal2pluto & family
prymsu & friend
scminnie & family
Mickeymagic & DD
