As the title says my co-worker is going to Disneyland in a few weeks.
They plan to be there for one day and my co-worker already ordered a set of those new mini-tickets for that day. She is very looking forward for Disneyland. According to my research the day they will be visiting will be moderately crowded.
My last visit to Disneyland Paris was in 2010 and I was not very impressed. I mean it was nice, yes, but I was not blown away.
Her family consits of her, husband and their two teenage children. Her husband is almost 2,00 m tall. Which rides are not suitable for him?
I gave her the following advises:
- be early at the gates!
- take a short break from time to time to grab a Coke or a light snack
- use Fastpass (I think she got that, I explained it to her)
- first thing: grab FP for BTMR, ride standby and than use the FP
that is what we did when we were there. It turned out that it was a good idea because the line for BTMR was very long the rest of the days
They do not go there for meeting any princesses, but her daughter said that she would like to have a photo with Mickey Mouse. Where to do that?
I saw that there is this new Ratatouille-ride in the studios, should they better start out there first? I already told her that she should not expect to be the only people at Disneyland this day and that a line of 30 min for a headliner is nothing to say "I will never get in line 30 min long".
What tips can you give me to tell her?
Where could they eat for a rather fair price?
Can they take their own food with them?
What rides first? (note: they will skip Dumbo, Peter Pan because they are not interested)
I looked up for refurbishments and for headliners it only says that Space Mountain is closed..hooray.
I would be very thankful for answers so that they will have a nice and less stressful day.
