CM said a 6:10pm BB F! package will be for 9pm show? 6:50 rsvp is for the later show? What!

Hi,

I took the disboards awesome advice and called in my reservation hoping they had some info I don't about the days that Fantasmic! is playing. We are going Dec 6-11 and I'd prefer not to see the show the day we arrive and I am hoping with the holiday time etc etc they might do some mid week shows.

She had no info on midweek shows but said that what I wanted wasn't possible. That a 7pm dinner reservation can't be for the 9pm show, that it would be the later show. She said the only way to get the earlier 9pm show was the 6:10 reservation.

Is that true? I thought I've been reading here that people have been doing the 7pm dinner for 9pm show just fine.

Should I call back and talk to someone else?

Much thanks in advance!:disrocks:

From what I've read, reservations between 4:00 pm and 6:45 pm get FPs for the first show and reservations after that time get FPs for the second show (when there is a second show). I think some guests have had luck asking their server if they could get FPs for the second show, but the CM on the phone probably read you the official policy.

In terms of F! on a weekday in December, they probably won't start nightly presentations until somewhere around December 11 (assuming they're being consistent with past years). They may surprise everyone and do nightly presentations from earlier because they've announced that F! will be dark for much/all of next year, so there might be some guests opting to see it "one more time" that would have otherwise skipped it.

figment_jii-thank you. :goodvibes That sounds familiar to me now. I will keep my reservation and hope that they do offer some mid day ones.... I was hoping for pulling off a crazy day of seeing the candlelight processional and then doing the BB F! with fireworks after, but it's probably better to be more realistic and do the BB Fantasmic.

one more question: if I did a 4:30pm dinner reservation, how long does dinner take? Could we do dinner and catch the candlelight processional (I understand we wouldn't see much, but still seems like a neat thing to do).

And you know, they say reservations start at 4:00, but it seems like it doesn't really start until 4:30?

thanks again!

A 3-course dinner takes the better part of 1 hour, plus anytime you might have to wait to be seated (like if you have a larger party or want a specific table location)

I think dinner would take between 60 and 90 minutes, depending on how fast you eat.

There are two shows of the Candlelight from what I have heard. Not sure if you could do BB 430 dinner, Candlelight and then back over for the F?

60-90mins isn't that long, maybe I will look into other times then.

JadeDarkstar: The candlelight thing should be at 5:30 and 8:30. The only one I could wrangle into our schedule is the 5:30 one.

you know it might be ok, I wanted to check in earlier to get a waterside table but seeing the candlelight thing for 30mins is better than nothing.

Thanks

If I should budget an hour to 90 minutes for dinner, and they have an 810 dinner reservation, do you think it is reasonable to just take it? I don't know what time the 2nd F! show would be in mid November.
