CM question

I've heard that CM is introducing "journaling cards" very soon. Has anyone seen these? If so, could you describe them to me? I'm looking for something small that the kids in my son's class can write a message on that I can scrap for the teacher's end of the year scrapbook.

Yes, journaling cards are coming out this month. The way CM is promoting them, is to hand out at Home classes and home shows (not really for retail purchase). But, I am sure if you have a good relationship with your CMC, you can ask if you can just order a pack for yourself. I was just at Regional's this weekend and they really pushed these- it is 5 different sizes of journaling mats, cut from ruled paper, 40 in white and 40 in natural. It's really a great idea!

And I love your idea of making an album for teacher- I want to do the same thing, but since I rarely am able to help out in class (I have a two year old and babysit a 1 year old 4 days a week), I'm afraid the teacher might catch on to what I am doing if I just show up out of the blue to take a picture of each kid and send home a journaling mat with each student....but I guess it doesn't have to be a total surprise, right?

I meant to add that it is the equivalent to eight 10x12 pieces of CM's ruled paper.

Sounds like it's EXACTLY what I'm looking for!! You mentioned that they come in different sizes - is there one that's about 4x6 in size?? I'm so excited!! I had thought that I would have to buy a bunch of ruled paper and cut it to the size I need. This would be SO much better.

OMG! Just the other night I was thinking about how I am going to do an album for DD's first grade teacher -- and I was wondering what I could do so each child could write her a little note. The Journaling Cards sound perfect! I can't wait to see them.

I just looked in my Regional's brochure to try and get an idea of what sizes the cards are---they're all different sizes and they don't list the exact dimensions. Some are cut more horizontal, some vertical, etc.

I'm hesitant to list the price, as again, it's not something that currently is available for customers to buy...it's more for CMC's to buy for their classes and hand out 1-2 to each customer. If your CMC doesn't want to order them for you, contact me and I can get some for you when I place my next order.
