CM question and possibly a forum idea?

Hi - I have a couple questions. First of all, if i were to work at Disney (yay ) would I get free access to disney world, or just the park i work in? what about DL? does my immediate family (i.e. children) get a discount?


also, does anyone else think a "working at the mouse" forum would be useful? I know I have a ton of questions about working there, and how to get a job, how the casting process works, as well as things outside the parks. things like where is a good area to live that is safe, what schools are like, etc. i think this could be useful, what does everyone else think?

great idea - we just returned and are really putting some thought into eventually moving there - i am curious about everything you asked also.

hmm, as a Cast member, you have access to all the parks(except for Disney Tokyo). All you need is your ID. Lets say i work for Disneyland, i can get into the WDW for free and with the blue pass, i can take 3 people in as well. That is to my knowledge. Im not too sure about your dependent, but your blue pass, should allow all your dependents and your spouse to enter the park for free.

i think thats how it works.

As for the hiring in process, i dont know if i can release that information so my mouth is zipped!

I don't need too much inside info, but knowing how the application process works, and what to expect in an interview may be useful! also, there are jobs i wouldnt even know where to look for. i.e. my bf does security camera work... would he contact central casting or do they list those things on the web? i have all kinds of questions about the area and where is a good place to live and what are good schools....
