CM discounts

I have a cousin who works at WDW along with his wife. We are staying in a timeshare for a week but I am planning to go down three days early for the Pirates & Princess party. We need a room for 2 nights. I would like to surprise the kids by staying at a WDW resort. Does anyone know if the CM's get room discounts? Is is worth calling him and bothering him over?

He has gotten us in the park with his comp passes before, though we have only troubled him for these once when my mom & dad went with us. Don't like to feel like I am just using someone over & over.

If you have any info please let me know.

yea they get great discounts - he will have to make the reservations (I think)

Disney allows their CMs to make 5 room reservations per year for friends and family. They are often 40% or 25% off. They have a certain amount of rooms to pull from and advance reservations are needed.

NOTE: The above discounts are from Rack-Rate and cannot be combined with other discounts!

Sometimes it can be up to 50% if the CM stays in the room.

It never hurts to ask!

Max 50% if the CM stays in the room, max 40% if not. But availability is limited, and sometimes lower discounts are offered - or sometimes none at all if the allocation is already gone.
