Do CM's get a discount if they want to buy into DVC?

Yes, but there are restrictions placed on the points.

At one time the discount was 25%, but has since been reduced to either 15% or 20%.
The restrictions have included (and may still):
Can only sell back to DVC
Unable to rent points

unable to rent points? do you mean the CM couldnt rent the points to someone? or couldnt rent more points for themselves??

Could not rent their points out to someone else.

I'm just curious, if the CM can only sell back to DVC, does that mean that DVC is committed to buying them? And if so, how do they determine the buy back price?
