CM at Haunted Mansion & Tower of Terror

We were there this past week. We rode both rides several times. I was disappointed in the CMs at both rides. The past trips they have been really into playing the role. This time they were more about pushing you through the attraction. I really thought this took away from the whole ride experience. Has anyone else noticed this?

I love it when the HM cast members "inspect" you and make comments as you enter. I've found they're better about it during the off season.

Sorry about your bad experience. I think you just have to luck out and get a really good CM.

when the crowds are high, it's easier just to herd everyone thru the que than to make nice and play. Part of it is human nature, the other part is the costumes they wear are hot... and heavy. I'm sorry they weren't up to par, but have patience, when the slow season comes, it'll get better, it always does.

Yes i know this does nothing for you, or your experience, but it reminds others that they may not experience the same stuf fyou do.

i've noticed that trend over the years at HM, the CM's are less enthusiastic about their jobs then they used to be. occassionally, you will get some good ones who really play into the role, but i too have found them to just push gets through the ride without any interaction. i did have a really really good CM on TOT last week though, he was really creepy, did some funky crosseyed thing and said some funny but scary stuff. at HM, i was not as lucky.

even the worst cm at HM can't be beat anywhere on Earth!!! I CAN NOT WAIT TO SEE MY KIDS FACES!!!!

I agree with the comment that they play up their roles more during the off season. However, I haven't noticed THAT much difference either time....CM on those attractions always seem to play up their roles pretty well and I love it.

I think when it gets so busy they are more focused on getting people through the areas.
