Clueless, need help

Hi,

This may seem like a silly question, but I have never been to Universal and am now planning a trip for a huge number of people. (26) We are going to WDW for 5 days before Universal.

We are planning to go to US one day and IOA one day. However, the day that we go to US will be later in the day, (other obligations). The day we are planning to go to IOA we can be there by park opening and have already purchased a express pass for everyone. We have a 2day park to park pass.

My question is this, would it make more sense to be a park opening for US and try to ride as much as we can in a few hours and then go to IOA to use our express pass, as we don't have to worry about the long lines??

Can anyone tell me how easy it is to walk from park to park??

Walking from park to park is easy. The parks are only a short (5 to 10 minute depending on pace) distance through the citywalk area to each other. As far as which park to get to at opening, I would say Universal due to the amount of people who will be going to see the new Mummy ride. Also, due to most of the attractions being shows or show like, I found the lines there to be a bit longer than those at IOA but I could be mistaken.

I would do Universal first. Head directly back to the Mummy and ride it first and then do any thing else you didn't do the day before. From what I understand they have been having some extremely long line over at the Mummy.

I would do Us first also. Since it has so many attractions/shows that last a while, it actually takes longer to do US.

When are you going July Vs. September would make a big Difference as crowds would dictate your actions.
