This hasn't made it to the major news sources yet, but apparently an expedition by a wilderness maintenance group at The Walt Disney World has rescued a group of eight tourist who were lost in a remote corner of Stormalong Bay for the past week. The eight were found to be in general good health, my sources report. No previous alarms had been raised about their disappearance as they were staying off site and were illegally pool-hopping. Frankly, their off-site hotel took no interest in them as they had prepaid their stays there.
There are a couple of lessons to be learned here, my friends.
Stay on site whenever you can. The Walt Disney World cares and will keep good track of you.
Even if you are on site, don't pool hop. The risk is just not worth it. If these folks hadn't packed energy bars and bottled water, who knows what fate they might have met.
Caveat renter, my friends, Caveat renter.
