So club level, if you could stay anywhere, where would you stay and why? Recent pictures of club level offerings very welcomed and encouraged! This would be for a first adult only trip. Monorail would be nice, but not a must. Gimme what you got Disboards!

GF RPC is really the ultimate. The food offerings are great, the atmosphere is lovely with live music floating up from below, the lounge is spacious and the CM's are friendly and helpful.
Second choice is Poly CL due to the beautiful view from the lounge.
In the Epcot area, you cannot beat the CL at the BWI. The CM's there are so friendly and helpful. They have to be the best in WDW. They make a stay in BWI CL feel like home, only better. It is a great place to stay!

All three of these are prime CL experiences. All CLs are good, but these three each have something truly special to recommend them. A stay in any of these is spectacular. However, the best of the best is the GF RPC. Get a TPV room and it is awesome!

Thank you! Poly is out as DH wants to try a new resort (even though we've never done CL here!!) GF was on my top list, but I thought an Epcot resort may be fun too. The monorail is DEF a nice part though!

Well, if you want the Epcot area, then the BWI CL is the best, IMO. We have stayed at the YC CL and the BC CL as well, and didn't think that either compared to the BWI. The food offerings weren't that much different, but the atmosphere in the lounge was truly special at the BWI. Just so much fun! Whenever we were in there there was laughter ( in a good way) and a sense of camaraderie.

BC CL is experiencing refurb stuff, so I'd dodge that until complete. Same with AKL and WL.

Of the monorail resorts my preferences, in order, are:
GF RPC (main building), Poly and CR.

GF seemed to have the best selection of food items and being in the main building was great.
Poly's selections have never really wowed me (aside from the Pog juice :) ) but the lounge itself is fantastic and the club building location is nice too.
CR's food choices never wowed me much either and while the location is also nice, just about any room in the CR has the same view as the lounge.

If I could do any again, my vote easily goes to GF. A very close second is Yacht Club. We end up at Yacht Club more because my fiance likes Stormalong Bay.

thank you guys! I think GF it is!

Note there's two club buildings at GF - The Royal Palms Club (main building) and the one in the Sugarloaf building - completely separate club levels. Both are good but the RPC is the better of the two.

I can't argue with that decision! We just returned from a stay at GF RPC (main building) and it was exceptional. I posted some thoughts and pictures on both the GF thread and the CL thread.

yes, the main building is where i'm looking! Thank you!

and thank you @TJA , i will check it out!

We've done Poly and AKL Club Level, really enjoyed them. Had Poly booked a second time but had to cancel that trip. Have visited WL Club level and it looked nice. Tried to book CL at GF when we were there but it was full. (They have two, I believe.) We have also enjoyed the Hyatt Regency Club.

I really enjoy the Grand Sugar Loaf. I have never stayed in the main bldg, but have heard it is much nicer, so it must indeed be GRAND! The well trained staff in SL are amazing, courteous and so friendly!

I know you want the monorail line, but my favorite CL experience is AKL> it is outstanding!

@TJA what page is your review on?

I hope you found some info -- my posts were a little scattered because I posted while I was there at RPC and also when we returned home. Right around page 213 of the CL thread and some posts were made before that too, I think:

I cross-posted some info but then also posted some general GF info in the GF thread starting at Post 5589 on Page 280:

Bottom line is we thought RPC was very warm and comforting. There's just nothing like opening our door and hearing the piano, seeing the beauty outside and also down below in the lobby. There were several little touches throughout our trip that made the GF stand alone and apart from all others. We did notice some cutbacks in the amount of CM's working various jobs, but it did not bother us at all. We still had turndown each night (without requesting it) and had outstanding housekeeping. We did not receive a welcome gift, as reported by others, again it was nothing that bothered us.

We have stayed CL at WL, YC and BC and enjoyed them all. But, if money was no object, we would chose GF RPC (Main Building) with a theme park view!! Just seems like the ultimate!
