We have stayed club level previously at Polynesian and Yacht club, but would possibly like to try another resort .... Any thoughts on which resort is the best for Club level?

thanks in advance :)

There isn't one that is best as they all have their pros and cons. Having said that, our favorite is BWI. We love the resort itself, the location can't be beat and in our experience the CL CMs there are awesome.

I agree, all CLs are good in their own way. With that said, having stayed CL at WL, GF (both RPC & SL), Poly and BWI, I loved them all for different reasons (with the exception of GF SL, didn't care for the lounge/atmosphere). The others, however, were amazing!

GF RPC

- large, spacious/comfortable lounge that overlooks the lobby
- friendly CL CMs
- lots of windows with beautiful views of the grounds
- variety of food offerings

BWI CL

- small lounge, but quaint/quiet/comfortable
- very friendly/personable CL CMs
- good food offerings

WL CL

- spacious, spread out lounge that overlooks the beautiful lobby
- friendly CL CMs
- plentiful food offerings

It's hard for me to choose a favorite, but if I HAD to, BWI and Poly would be tied at the very top. The Poly is my favorite resort overall and BWI blew me away. We've had nice, friendly CMs at all the CLs we've tried, but I'd have to say that BWI was the best as far as CMs (followed very closely by Poly). Good luck! :)

There is no best. That's exactly like asking a parent which is their best child.
This thread's responses will include every single CL on property and I bet, the responses will be spread evenly among all of them. None are wrong, none are right.
I've done every CL except YC, many multiple times.
BWI is our hands-down favorite. They are our family.

My current favorite is the Yacht CL, most likely because I really like the new rooms. I love the candy dispensers with the tiny plastic bags & twist ties. The fridge stocked with icecream cups really helped too.

Loved both BC and Contemporary Club Levels. We did a split stay last summer and both were fantastic. BC gets the edge for a much larger variety of food, though.

I have also done WL and BWI clubs. Didn't love either. BWI was a free CL upgrade so was glad I didn't pay for it. Wasn't a fan of the food, the weird CL floor layout and the staff was annoyingly talkative.

Best is totally subjective, so you'll probably get a lot of answers.

We have stayed at both the YC and Contemporary CL. I can't say I prefer one over the other, because they were 2 different experiences. We enjoyed both stays very much! Overall, I liked the food options better @ the YC, Stormalong Bay is great, and being able to be close to 2 parks is a major plus. But for atmosphere in the lounge and for the ability to see the MK fireworks from the balcony, I liked the Contemporary. Plus, I liked that we could grab the monorail there in the resort.

If you would like an amazing view from the lounge, I would do CR. If you would like a bigger bang for your buck (and some really uniquely, resort-themed offerings), I would do WL or AKL (I've gotten WL CL for the price of a Poly standard!). We love the WL standard CL rooms as many have a fantastic view of the MK fireworks. You really can't go wrong with any of them - we've enjoyed BWI CL as well. I would consider picking the resort that works best for your trip and just booking the CL level there.

It's comforting to read all the positive reviews on the BWI CL. I decided a few days ago to change my reservations from WL to BWI CL in part so that I can purchase the CL 90 day FP program for our short 4 night stay before our cruise. There were not many options left and chose BWI CL. My favorite has been the WL, but there was no availability.

I wouldn't necessarily choose my vacation around club level, I prefer to choose the resort because my vacation doesn't revolve around the Club offerings. That being said, GF RPC would be my favorite hotel and club level experience.

Totally agree w the Poly/BWI tie. I was surprised bc I’m not someone who would ever want to vacation in Atlantic City, but the resort is lovely.

We like Poly bc of the views from the lounge (especially on the 3rd/4th of July!), the CMs, and the food is more to my taste (we really liked the wonton chips, potstickers, juice,...). We also love the lawn activities for the kids, resort dining (Ohana, TS), and the overall theme.

The BWI location is awesome though. We LOVE being able to walk to EPCOT and DHS (plus the boats are very convenient; and you can bus or walk thru EPCOT to the monorail). Really AK is the only “inconvenient” park.

We like Beach and Yacht Clubs, we just weren’t AS impressed with CL.

The only resort we've stayed at club level is Beach Club, and we loved staying club level there.

Thanks for all your replies... I had been leaning towards a stay at The Boardwalk Inn, lovely to hear so many positives about that resort :):)

I’m really thinking about YC club level though I like the GF deal I see too. Was the food good at YC. We did Club level at AKL and got tired of the food after a while. Thanks

I've only done club level once recently at Grand Floridian in the Main Building. It was amazing and I would definitely recommend it. It was lovely hanging out at the lounge that overlooks the lobby. You can people watch and listen to the live band play music. The food offerings were good too.

Unfortunately I am not a food connoisseur. I usually get the offerings from the children section and everything tastes great.
