Club Level Times & Opinions

Just wondering if anyone knows what time the resorts club lounges offer what and what the major differences in the offerings are? I've stayed at Hard Rock before in club level but I cant remember times or anything.

Universal's website has some info (just checked). For example here is the HRH page:

It says the lounge is open from 7:30am to 11:00pm.

I'm not sure what the difference is in offerings between the hotels, but search through their site (and this one too of course!) and you might get some of an idea.

Also, feel free to just call them and ask. I did this when I booked our last trip and the lady on the phone was very helpful and informative!

Only have stayed at HRH club level. Just returned yesterday from another stay on Club and this is what I can remember. Breakfast hours are from 7:30 - 10:00 am (during the week), may be later on the weekend. Evening snacks were from 5 - 7 pm (with the beer and wine) and then desserts came out at 8:30 pm. Fruit, water, and soda are offered during the other times. They also put out pretzels and chips around noon time. Apparently there are plans to re-do the club lounge at HRH - was told it should take place in September 2008. This is also the first time we have seen a person checking room keys outside the lounge at 5:00 pm - seemed to cut down on the number of people during the cocktail hour - would like to see them do that consistently.

I am glad to hear that. We stayed at the HRH Club level once. I was shocked at the behavior at some of the guests. First of all the line started to form 20 minutes before they filled the "trough" with chicken tidbits, small franks and beer. People were taking 6 beers at a time piling their plates a mile high with food and suing the lounge like it was a bistro.

At the PBH, there is a door in which you need to insert your key to open. If you are not club level, you cannot get in. There are some people that do sneak in. For the most part there is no line waiting for food and I have not seen people stuffing their pockets with bottles of beer. I did see a real snotty witch get kicked out 2 trips ago We encountered her and her troop for 2 mornings. Pushing, reaching, grabbing, loud mouth, stealing chairs.....she had a screw loose for sure. For some reason she kept giving me dirty looks - not imagining it - my DH saw it too. During one of her staring contests with me one of the staff came over to her and asked to see her key. She was told she was not paying for club level and she did not belong there and her and her entourage were escourted out - dirty looks and all. Yes there is a God.
