Club Level Question (E-Ticket at Disneyland and Veranda at Grand Californian)

Editing the post as I'm thinking the question isn't being conveyed right. We 100% think club level is worth it, the extra to add it on isn't a factor. We have experienced club level multiple times before. We will be doing CL over both Halloween and Christmas this year, same as last year.

Question: I wanted to find out if anyone has been to the DLH E-ticket lounge recently (within the past month or so) and knows what time breakfast started. GCH pushed back their breakfast to 7am instead of 6:30am like in the past. We are not big on breakfast and just need grab and go in the mornings until 11:30ish, but if the CL opens at 7am we will already be at security.

Club level is generally not ideal for a go-go-go Disney vacation; it's more geared for a relaxing, go-with-the-flow vibe. This is also what I tell people who ask if club level is "worth it"--if you're asking that question, it's probably not. If you're going to spend your whole vacation adding up the cost of every item you consume in the lounge to try and get your money's worth, well... not only won't you, but you'll make yourself miserable in the process.

If the timing of food service in the lounge doesn't match how you normally tour and break, I suggest saving the money and not doing club level *OR* changing your style of visit and seeing how it works for you. Sleep in rather than rope drop, for example.

We've done CL at the Disneyland Hotel several times now since 2021, which generally works for our schedule and is very much worth it to us. If we added everything up, we probably wouldn't break even in terms of money (spending more on CL than if we bought each item individually), but that is fine with us as it is more about convenience than money. We're not that concerned with the price.

I am in the midst of researching CL also & this is something I came onto last night that went on my list of questions. I am like you where if breakfast isnt going to be out at 630...we just probably not going to get it. We plan to enjoy the lounge mid day for the most part, but I also want to be able to run over to get some coffee, drinks, & snacks to enjoy when we we are headed over for EE.

I mean if I have a DTD view & they are playing Bille Jean all night I might also want a grab and go Mimosa!!

It's not for you if you are doing rope drop and won't be in the lounge during the main meal service times.

I think I'll just call the hotel directly to find out since there hasn't been any recent experiences, probably should have done that in the first place lol. We are definitely doing club level over the next couple trips, just curious on if it starts at 6:30am or was pushed back to 7am like GCH.

So GCH is for sure pushed back🙁 I was going to call them about the cabana rental to ask a question and I’ll try to get an answer on the CL thing for both ones.

I stayed at the Grand in May and the lounge opened at 6:30 and had food out, and we were able to eat/grab and then head to the line.

When we were there in March, food was also out at 6:30am. We were able to pick up food and make it into the park by 7:30am.

So, jumping on this cuz we are doing club level at Disneyland hotel in August as a splurge. It’s a non park day, but we are wondering, do you get club level access for both check in day and check out day?

On check in day you would get it & I have heard a few places that on check out your card will work till 6PM but I am not not 100% on this.

Thanks!

CHeck in, and usually until noon on check out day.

Thanks!

I did a bit of research and found a PlanDisney post from May 2022 that says til 6 pm. We are going for 2 nights but only splurging one night for Club level... :D In any event, as long as we have breakfast the second day, we are good.

Thanks!

So they will allow you to only add certain nights? I have wondered that I would love to book it for certain days but not all of them because I am hoping to have reservations for a few,
