Club Level @ HRH or Favorite rooms?

I just reserved a room for the first part of June for 233.10 (AAA) rate - is it worth the extra money for Club Level or should I hope for a possible upgrade (I am Loews member)? Also, does anyone have any favorite rooms to suggest in case an upgrade isn't available? We are a family of 3 (son is 12) and this will be our 2nd trip - 1st stay was at RPR

I wouldn't count on a club level upgrade. Club is the hardest upgrade to attain unless you are willing to pay the $100/night upgrade fee. My favorite garden view rooms end in 070-082 (even), 085-097(odd). They are very close to the elevators and have views of the great lawn and the water way where you get on the water taxi. If you don't mind a bit of a walk you could try rooms ending in 121-135(odd) or 104-114(even). They have a view of the waterway and a very nice garden area. If you booked a pool view, I like 084-098 (even). These rooms have great views of the pool and themeparks. All you need to do is add the floor number to the front of the numbers I gave you. Ex. 5070 or 6070. Floors 5 and 6 offer the best views without obstructions. The club floor is on 7.

My experience for locations at HR is to steer far from the smoking areas, but do not worry about pet areas.

my husband and i stayed on the club level 4 years ago while on our honeymoon. there is a nice lounge that serves free breakfast, snacks in the late afternoon, and cookies and milk in the evening. you can also go in there anytime to watch movies and have complimentary drink. it was nice but a little pricey for the room.

only been on club level three times.
last october i had room 7100.....down the hall from the elevator and club lounge. (king suite)

great view of park.

other good room is on the opposite hall from there.......left off the elevators 5 doors down from the club room...this is a standard room here.
i loved the view from this room

to me if i am going solo , it is not worth it to do club level.

when my son goes with me, then it is.........



my upgrades were unexpected, something i wouldn't count on at hrh.

about the loews gift, make sure it is not a black out period. if it is, ask for the loews welcome gift on a different day you are there.

last oct out of the 4 days i was at hrh, 3 were black out dates for loews gift.
the front desk sent the loews gift on my last night.
