We might have a chance to go to Club 33 next year. How much does a meal here run? I know it is very expensive and park admission is included but how expensive?

Thanks
Jill

Lunch for an adult (as of last year) was conveniently the same price as a one day one park ticket- but the ticket that came with it is a park hopper. I want to say the child's lunch was $37.50.

Go. If you can possibly swing the money, go. It is absolutely wonderful. Do not cave into the temptation to act like you do it all the time- tell them it is your first visit- they have always pulled out all the stops when we have had (or been) first timers with a tour and some history and little freebies- pens, tiny notepads, extra mints etc. Also note that this is your only opportunity to buy the keepsakes sold there, so budget for the ears or pin. IIRC ears were $15, Christmas ornaments were $33 and the two pins I have varied widely- one was $10, one was $33.

I heard there is a minimum order of $62 per person. You get valet parking at the Grand California and admission to the park for that day.

I wish I could go! I am trying to make some connections for my parents 30th wedding aniversary, but no luck thusfar!

Our check for two adults and two children at lunch came to around $300 with tip.

Thanks, this will be DH's first trip to DL and I have only been for one day. We will only be there one day and can't decide what to do as it will be memorial day. THe price isn't as bad as I thought!

Valet parking at the Grand is only for the member. If the guest is dining without the member, then they have to park in the structure or one of the open lots.

It's a Prix Fixe menu. You do not get parking- members might, but not guests.

Yes, there is a "prix fixe" menu offered at dinner, but it's not necessary to choose that menu. Club 33 also offer other main courses to choose from if one prefers to order something different for dinner. The prix fixe menu does make it very easy to spend the minimum and IMHO, makes for a longer stay at the club since there are several courses that you'll be served. DH and I usually go that route for dinner and linger for at a least 2-2 1/2 hours. :thumbsup2

When we dined there for lunch, we were given a menu to choose the main course we wanted and they had a really nice buffet set up where you could choose your side dishes and dessert. Different atmosphere than dinner (again, IMHO), but just as nice. :)

Having a meal at Club 33 is a wonderful deal for guests of club members since guests are provided one-day park hopper tickets ($91, adult; $81, child price quotes on the DL website). And like others have posted, parking is not included.

Have a great time when you get to go and be sure to ride the elevator!
