Hi ALL!
We are going to DLRP July 27-29. What is suitable attire for this time of year? Shorts, pants, or capris? What about rain jackets and a light sweater? I keep getting conflicting information. Some say it will be very warm, but everywhere I've read has said that it will be about 70degrees fahrenheit. Then someone mentioned that humitity is a factor as well. Help?

Also, we are thinking about staying off site. Which of the few hotels are the best? How do we get from the train station to the hotel- bus? Or is there a shuttle service? If we do stay at a DLRP hotel are there shuttles from Disney? While at the Chessy Station do we need to know French, or is it possible to get around without it?

Thanks in advance for any help!
BTW- we are extremely excited!!! We LIVE for going to Disney!!! :rotfl:

I would take summer clothes and a light jacket and jumper as well in case it rains or gets a little cooler in the morning and evening.

It should be hot however this part of Europe has a variable climate and the temperature can change quite unexpectedly. so it best to be prepared for rain. though not very cold so no need for winter clothes.

If you stay at one of the off site hotels nearer to DLP, there is a few just out side, then there is a shuttle bus which serves all the hotels in that area. These are the offsite hotels that are nearest and seem just as good as the Disney ones.

If you stay further away than choice a hotel near a RER station and travel by train. If you do choice a hotel further away than do check that there is a station near by or they run a hotel shuttle bus.

See you there!
We're going on July 24th - 29th, staying at the Sequoia Lodge. We have been the last couple of times at that time of year and we've only taken summer clothes, warm top (in case the temperature drops - never used though) and a lovely yellow mac we bought in 2003. :) Last year we had downpours a couple of days but they only lasted 30 minutes or so and were mainly around 1 - 2pm.

We stayed offsite last year at the Explorers, lovely hotel would recommend it only downside we felt was the infrequency of the shuttle buses but to be honest it was a very pleasant walk to the park (25/30 minutes)

Have a great time.
