We're going the end of October. My wife goes "tanning" so she'll be wearing shorts and my son livens in shorts. I lose what little tan I get around end of August LOL

My question is.....Is the weather to hot for khakis? I was thinking of wearing Dockers or the like but don't want to suffer heat stroke.

We have ben there in the last part of October 2 times and I would die in long pants most of the time. That being said, we are not used to heat at all here at home...we usually have snow on the ground when we leave so it is such a change for us. The last time we went, we lived in shorts and were still hot as can be...the year that Hurricane Wilma hit, it got a bit chilly after she went through....I would plan on bringing mostly shorts......and some tan in a bottle!:lmao:

We have been the last two years at the end of October and it was always shorts weather. Many days were extremely muggy and sticky - not pants weather. We always bring jeans with us and I may have put them on several nights, but my DH wore shorts the whole time.

Now THAT'S funny! :rotfl2:

It's that or just let everyone bask in the glo of my legs:rolleyes1

Right now it's 110 degrees outside...October still hit's mid 80's...I can wear pants outside here in October but we don't have near the humidity.

What to do what to do LOL

i was there in the beginning of october and it was still pretty warm enough to wear shorts t-shirts and flip flops. you should be fine but of course just bring some heavier clothes too incase you have a cold day or two

We were there at the end of Oct. a few years ago. All of the days were warm (shorts weather), but the mornings were cool/cold, as well as the nights. I would def. bring a sweatshirt and a pair of jeans. I remember wearing jeans to MNSSHP.

October can be brutally hot and humid. I would say, skip the long pants and just wear shorts. No one will even notice if you don't have a tan! It's so important to be comfortable - it's hot enough without adding long pants to the mix!

I've been twice in October. It is usually warm during the day and cool at night. I'm bringing pants and capri's for evenings for sure! I hate to be cold. :)

Good tips. We're going in October too. We went in the middle of November before & wore shorts but sometimes needed a light jacket. I was wondering what Oct. would be like.
