Closing Time!

Forgive me if this has been answered somewhere already, but what exactly happens between ROFR and closing docs being sent out? If it's waiting for an estoppel letter from Disney as some sources suggest, why is DVC Closings able to generate closing docs almost immediately after ROFR passes in a lot of these cases?
Usually it's just the title company preparing the docs. Once ROFR is passed the estoppel is issued. Some title companies work much slower than others. I would say some will use "waiting for an estoppel" as an excuse if they are questioned on why you are still waiting.

Thank you!! I was thinking of sending a little "Thank you so much for handling this transaction so wonderfully thus far! If you need anything else from us, please let me know!" as a nudge and I think I just may.

If you are referring to Duncan, we passed ROFR on 5/20 and received closing docs 6/1. I did have to reach out after 10 days to check on the status. DVC Title was much faster.

To add to what already was posted, you may be seeing some old info regarding about estoppel too.

At one time, it was not sent at the same time as ROFR…but that was several years ago.

All title companies work at whatever pace they can handle. It can very a great deal.

Almost there just waiting on my emails from Disney seems both ROFR and Welcome Home emails have slowed down in the past month as it was only taking roughly 6 to 7 days for points to be loaded into accounts regardless of new or old accounts. I have seen some post they either are still waiting on points or just got them who closed 4 or 5 days before me.
