Well - it was a fun day in vmk today. Our very own PirateSpeedy had his birthday today! And as surprise parties often go - his was not without a hiccup. But, on the 2nd attempt, several of Speed's friends were able to come and help him celebrate his - cough - birthday! (I'll never tell how old - that would be against vmk values...)

Although our friend had to leave early tonight, we closed in the Happy Be Day Pirate Pan Boy Birthday room on his behalf.

Thanks all for helping to celebrate Speed's birthday today. It's really cool to see a friend having so much fun! And thanks to those of you who helped with pulling it all together.

Happy Birthday Speed - we hope you had fun, both on vmk and in the real world. May all you wish for be yours! You deserve the best.

And you still have a gift to "open" tomorrow when you have more time! (for those of you in on the joint gift - shhhhh! He did not have time to open it yet! Keep the secret 1 more day...)
