Closest off-site hotel near Coronado Springs Resort

We are travelling from GA and will arrive via the Toll Road late the night before we check in at Coronado Springs and begin our Free Dining vacation.

I've been Priceline bidding in the West Disney area, hoping to get something cheap that is easy to get to Coronado Springs the next morning. No success so far.

We will only be sleeping one night before bolting over to CS to begin our Disney vacation. I'd like something inexpensive, easy to get in and out of, and easy to get to CS. Any suggestions?

The closest would be Bonnet Creek, about a 5 min drive to CSR. You should be able to get a room at one of the DTD hotels for close to $100, sometimes even under $100 per night.

You probably want somewhere by 192 from around Sherberth rd to around the 429 expressway.You can get into Disney property by Sherberth rd or by taking the 429 and getting off at Western Way which will put you at Buena Vista blvd by the Coronado Springs resort.

I agree with this poster. There is a Baymount Suites that is 500 feet from Sherberth Rd. The rooms are around $65.00 a night. There is a McD's next door and a Walgreens 1000 feet from the hotel. http://www.baymontinns.com/hotels/f...0-1-0-0-1-0-0&checkin_date=11/28/2013&rooms=1


We always take Sherberth Rd to get to Disney. Turn left as you leave the hotel, the hotel is on Black Lake Rd. The road deadends in 500 feet right at Sherberth. Turn left on Sherberth and keep driving till you get to Osceola Pkwy which is about a 2mile drive. It should be the first traffic light you come to. Turn right onto Osceola. Take it to the first traffic light and turn left on to Buena Vista drive and CSR is down the road a bit and on your left.

Taking this route is the least congested!!!!

BTW the hotel has free breakfast or you can grab a bit at McD. There are also a few other places to eat in front of the hotel and easy to get to. Also if you need something from a Super target. Turn right as you pull out of the hotel. When the road deadends turn left. there is a traffic light 100 feet ahead. Turn right onto 192 and Super Target is one or two traffic lights away and on the left side of the road. We also take the Sherberth/Black Lake Rd to get to Target. This Target is 10-12 minutes from the AKL!!!

My DS is a hotel snob but he has taken his sports team to stay at the Baymont year after year and says he would even stay there on his own. The price is great!

I would stay at one of the hotels on 192 if you want to be close to the resort. It makes for super easy access to the park, when I worked at DAK this is the way I went from the CP housing which is by DTD.
