Closest Hotel to MK

Is the Contemporary or the Polynesian closer to the MK or which hotel has the easiest access to the MK? Does the Grand Floridian come into play at all?

Contemporary:
5-7min walk to the Magic Kingdom
Monorail ride with 3 stops (TTC, Poly, GF)

Polynesian:
Monorail ride with 1 stop (GF)
3-5min walk to TTC, Ferry or express monorail to Magic Kingdom
Boat Ride to the Magic Kingdom

Grand Floridian:
Monorail directly to Magic Kingdom
Boat ride to the Magic Kingdom with 1 stop (Poly)

You can walk to MK from the Contemporary...there is a path. The Poly is the furthest.

If you think of it as a clock, MK is noon, Contemporary is 3, Poly is at 6 and GF is at 9.

CR has a walking path to MK. It takes about 5-10 minutes to walk there. You can also take the monorail, but personally we prefer to walk.

You have monorail service from both Poly and GF to MK. Not sure which gets you to MK quicker, but I don't think it would be a huge difference.

We'll be staying at the Contemporary (never have).
