As a first timner I'm surprised of the attractions that are closed in the summer. When we are there according to the disney site Pooh, HM, Space Mt, Railroad, Monorail, Turtle talk, Mr Lincoln are going to be down. is this a usual occurance. Won't stop me from going and I will still enjoy my visit but thought this time of year everything would be running

This year is unusual with some of the closures, especially bigger rides. There's been construction on the Haunted mansion side of the park. I'm not sure why space, etc. are closed, though.

It is not super common to have so much down at once, but I do recall a time when we were planning to go in 2017 and there was a ton down (I can't remember which attractions). People on the DIS were calling it black hole week.

The main impact now seems to be finishing up Tiana's Bayou Adventure and the surrounding area...they have to shut down a lot to get that done. When you add on a few other refurbs to that, it really adds up.

I know it feels disappointing to have less attractions to look forward to, but I hope you still have an amazing time!
