****************closed******************Hi everyone! I have been to WDW so many times that I am blanking on what to do for our dinners! I have tried over 30 WDW restaurants (resorts and parks). No, I will not tell the ones I have tried....want you to pick off your experience! So, tell me where to get my dinner!!! ( I will have 6 polls up -- one for each day, please join them all! )

Cast: Debbie (me) Clinton (DH) Drayton (DS11) Jace (DS8)

I picked Crystal Palace so you don't have to leave the MK. We've never eaten at Kona's or Ohanas; I didn't choose Chef Mickey's because you'd have to leave the park and I think it is too loud and think breakfast is better than dinner; we prefer Tony's at lunch and we did not like WCC when we were there last month--found it very overrated and DH got sick eating the ribs and chicken in the skillet.

I voted for Kona Cafe simply because the food is so good.

Crystal Palace would be my runner up.

Chef Mickey's at 3rd place.

Wow! that was quick! Thanks and keep it coming!!:goodvibes

This one is tought and unltimately you would do better pick 2 out of 'ohana, WCC and Kona, and forgetting one of your other lists

I went with WCC by a slim margin. This would be the best choice if you have young kids in the party, your 8 year old for example would love it here. But both 'ohana and Kona Cafe are fine choices

voted WCC cause I think your boys would like it. The boat ride is pleasant & it's neat to check out the WL, geyser, etc.

never got sick from the food there either. been about 4 times.

I voted WCC. I think that the atmosphere is great for your kids' ages (and yours), and we really enjoyed the food.

thank!! WCC is pulling out in front!! Keep the votes coming!! :rotfl:

I'm trying to pick with your boys in mind as I have 2 boys who are 7 and 6.

Its a tough one between Chef Mickeys and WCC. We liked both of these. If you didn't have another character meal planned then I would have to say Chef Mickeys but my boys did enjoy riding hobby horses round the restaurant at WCC:laughing:

You'd be better off at Narcoossee's or Citricos or even the California Grill.
If forced to pick one off that list, I guess it would be Kona---

Sorry, Doing the dinning plan. Not wanting to use 2 TS's for a meal (even though they are yumm-o) i would love to add those to the list!! ;)

wow i'm surprised to see kona beating ohana and wcc while the food is great at kona it has very little magic to it when i'm at disney i love to get lost in the theming and the magic so i chose ohana for the overall expirence

I picked Chef Mickey's because we have kids and our DD LOVED this dinner! Great selection for everyone to pick from as well.

do you think 11 is too old for chef mickey's or CP? Up to now he has loved the characters....just don't know if he will change his mind by June?

I picked CP because I would want to stay in the park and enjoy the magic until the park closes!:yay: Chances are if you leave the park to eat, you may not come back.

Crystal Palace is my first choice, and Kona is second. I just found the food at CP to be slightly better than at Kona. Plus, the restaurant is in the Magic Kingdom. :)

I personally don't think it's too old in general, but since you have boys, CP might be pushing it. CM would probably be just fine. But you know those tween years, you never know how they are going to feel. ;) You know your son best and I would go with the signals you are getting from him.

As far as my opinion for a restaurant. You made it tough because some are so different. I was going to say if it is about the food, Kona. Something more fun, but sans the characters, WCC. Not too crazy about CM dinner, prefer doing breakfast there.

Hope you have a great trip!:goodvibes

funny, i asked the boys about character meals. they think pooh is for girls but mickey is still OK! i asked if they would be willing to eat at CP if it wins the poll..they said....MOM, who cares, if the food is good we will eat it!!:lmao:
