CLOSED:Urgent Thanksgiving Reservation for rent: Animal Kingdom 1br 11/20-11/26

My misfortune can be your gain.... I WAS planning on going with friends, however they have bailed at the last minute

I now have an extra 1 bedroom DVC reservation at Jambo House: Animal Kingdom (11/20-11/26) for this Thanksgiving week.

It is for a value 1 bedroom villa (no sleeper chair in living room) but has a full kitchen and washer/dryer. I used 146 points and would like to see ~$7/pt so $1050 (which is a STEAL) but no reasonable offer will be refused

I can do Paypal... and I will still be going that same time period and would be on site to assist with any issues.

Do you know what view the room has? Savanna view?

It is a value room, these are basically the same as the other 1 bedrooms, but they sleep four not five (king in the bedroom and a queen sleeper couch in the living room) as they do not have a sleeper chair. These rooms are located in the front "horns" of Jambo. As far as views, you can ask for a preference, but no guarantees, the possible views would either be Sunset Savannah, Uzima pool or the trees in the front of the resort. If you look at the image you will see there are 4 savannah and 4 pool and 2 trees/parking lot views for value 1 bedrooms (aqua squares).

The value rooms are on Ostrich and Giraffe trails... a nice thing about this location is that you are towards the front of the resort and nearby to elevators, entrance, store, lobby, pool etc and will not have to walk 7 miles to get to the rooms... like when you are located on the ends of the big "horns".

Can the dates be changed to start on 11/18?

No, It cannot be changed to the 18. I had tried, before posting the rental, to use the points up by extending my other reservation... and while there was some rooms for the 18th, there was zero availability for sat night 11/19. I do not know what is available for after the 26th and was going to check... but at this point it is the 20-26.

Sooooooo... I did check and there is very little availability at the world... Thanksgiving is a popular time, nice weather, Christmas decorations, schools are out, the works. What is available is at Old Key West and SSR, so changing the reservation to the 21 to 27 would require staying 1 night at a different resort (which is a pain in the proverbial gluteus maximus)

I also realized I cannot change the reservation because it would mean me having to borrow additional points from my DVC account to switch Sun the 20 for Sat the 27 ...as Sat nights "cost more" than Sun nights. SO I am sorry, the reservation is from Sunday Nov 20 to Sat Nov 26... however those days for check in check out makes it better for those that need to drive
