Hi all! I cancelled a trip I had planned for May 2020 as the walls were closing in on us last March. The ressie included the use of 28 pts banked from 2018. After cancelling the trip and banking my 2019 pts right before my March 31 deadline (Aug UY), I assumed my 28 pts would be lost.
I just noticed that DVC extended the use deadline of those points to Nov. 30 of this year. There's no way we can use them, and if someone else can, I'd really like to help you out.
I've actually been a member of this board since 1999 or 2000, and wrote trip reports and all that stuff back then. Then the board changed over and I lost all that history. So yes, I'm not an active poster these days, but more of a lurker and still familiar with this beloved community. We've been DVC members since 2007, and have never expired points before. I have used the DVC Rental Store a couple years ago to rent points to two families which went very smoothly.
So if anyone could use 28 pts in the next few weeks (or even a few extra), please take advantage of my "fire sale." I have at least 30-40 WDW trips under my belt and am an almost annoyingly honest person.
