Thank you. We are heading to disney world . Feb 21-28. We just planned this trip last minute. I am scrambleing to get outfits together for Grace. She is going to be 20 months old on our trip.

We, GoofyG and her 3 kids and my husband and I, are going to be there the same dates as you. We are staying off site at a condo. I'll keep and eye out for your cute boutique outfits. DGD4, DGD2 & DGS(9 months) will have customs on every day, if I get them all done in time. Hope to run into you. If you see us be sure and say hi.

I live not to far over the Commodore Barry Bridge in NJ and we really need some snow. All this teasing with the dusting of snow here and there is killing my DD, she wants to make a snowman so bad. Thanks for all the prayers...I am just a short time away from driving home but wanted to give an update on my Granny.

They were unable to give her tPA because they don't know when she had the stroke. They are not sure why this happened and there are meds missing from her pill box that should still be in there...tonight's, and all of tomorrows...we don't know if she took them all by accident or if she never filled the box, which would be strange for her.

She was only able to say "Granny can't" this morning when she was trying to get my mom...now she can put 3 & 4 words together. She is walking and can only lift one arm. They will be running more test between now and when I get there I am sure. I will try to keep you updated...I am so sure that all your prayers had made the differnce. Thank you.

Thank you for all that posted about my sweet Morgan. For the record I never agreed with "experts" as to what she can and can't do. I am just not willing to limit or label her (I believe if you hear something negative enough you start to believe it). Heck if I believed what I was told- she should not be here right now. She is amazing and maybe I "forgot" that for a minute and this morning I got my reminder.

We went to the mall (still dressed as Fawn) and she "flew" all over and had a ball. We happened into JcPenny and they had the Tinkerbell Clickables Jewelry box normally 89.99 for 4.97. I had just told her I was not buying the box (I don't have a 90.00 jewelry box ), but for 4.97 SURE!!!! But then I noticed a sign it was half off the 4.97!!!!! I got it for 2.48! We also got the video game and bracelet. So I have one very happy fairy!!!!

I also went to Gymboree and bought 7 things (with diamonds-gotta have sparkle!) for 35.00!!!!!!

Steph- she picked out the yellow shirt, because she wanted to match Megan LOL (I hope you don't mind)

Yay!! Granny!! That is so good to hear. It sounds like she will be making a good recovery. I'll continue to pray for her.

Ok, I just got started making tshirts for DS's bday party in March

I thought I would make shirts instead of the cheap crap favors that people give out.
Well I have a problem, I bought way too much Wall E fabric! So do you guys think I should put it on free cycle or sell it? I know I have a little over 2 yrds left

Also where on earth do you find the pattern for the crayon roll thing?

I think there is crayon roll thing info in the Tutorials. You can also check out the fabric swap for your extra fabric! I am sure someone would love the wally-e fabric, especially after Lori's really cute outfit the other day!

Hey guys! I haven't been around but I have been thinking of all of you. I have NOT been sewing. Just busy busy busy learning to be a SAHM...boy are the dishes NEVER actually done? But finally I think I have decluttered my home to the extent that I may actually have time to sit down and sew something. I have tons of summery fabrics from last year that never got used and plan on making Little a whole slew of round necked dresses and pillowcase dresses for the FL. heat. It's just so nice to have something light and breezy to just throw on. I am also about to enter the world of cloth diapers....which I have been told is CRAZY. I am sewing dipes for the new little as well as a girlfriend who is due the day before me, so I'm sure to be a busy mama. I havent' gone backwards b/c I could never catch up but I
LOVE the outfit snubie made at the top of teresa's post. ADORABLE!!

I love how the Minnie mOuse turned out, it's my favorite, Imlike them all though. Thanks Jham for the ruffle idea. I'll have to get the 2 boys bowling shirt with Mickey Mouse form my mom. Sorry they are wrinkled, they were in a bag.

I finally got some dresses finished. I have 3 done, but then my camera battery died... grrr... so I have to wait for the other 2. Here is one finished. it is a OOAK and it has the cutest Eyelet material that is just perfect for easter or a trip to disney. We will not be keeping this one.

Quick question, has anyone ever bought fabric from thousandsofbolts.com, their prices are very low, and it seems to good to be true. A yard of Michael Miller Bunny Toss for 3.95/yard, I was looking at a few other sites and it was 8.95/yard.

I usually like to have at least two outfits per child but I procrastinated too much with this give and really had no time so I decided to make extra iron on t shirts for the kids...

I made that pattern. It comes out the way that it looks, but really if you want a pattern that is just as easy you can go with the Simply Sweet Pattern by CarlaC on YCMT.com. It has the halter option and really you get more options with her pattern.

I showed Jennifer the fabrics I was using and the applique and she did the rest. She added the centers. She also made Belle and Ariel bows using those same centers - I love them all!!

Here is my last Valentine's Day outfit for the year. I had ordered some pettis for spring/Easter, and they arrived earlier than expected. Also, since it looks as though I may not be able to use them after Feb 10 (thanks to the new legislation), I wanted to make something with them real quick. I have always loves the look of a petti with an embellished t-shirt.

The fluff is not as neon as it seems to be in the last pic, and I know better than to apologize for my dd's tangled hair.

Cute outfit! She'll still be able to wear the pettis. Not sure if that is what you meant or not though. I'm getting my first pettis soon. I am so excited!

I was inspired to make Grace a dress from the Tinkerbell pillowcase from Kmart. I saw the outfits some of you made using them so I decided to try. I also bought a little mermaid pillowcase. I haven't done anything with that one yet. When I finished the tinkerbell top it was too short. I attached the bottom green piece with ric rac to add length.

Love it!!! I am hoping I find this pillowcase next time I go to KMart.. is that where you found it??? I can make DH get it somewhere in New Iberia/Lafayette if you know where I can get one.

Oh, Heather!!! These are gorgeous!!!! Did you just make up the skirt part of the dress yourself?? I've always wanted to do that type of skirt, but I haven't tried it yet. Your Dumbo's look great! I am in the midst of trying my first freehand applique. I always just digitize designs for the embroidery machine. I wanted to make something bigger. Thanks for the tutorial. I am all ready to go, just waiting on a teflon sheet!
