Tom, Im curious, does she have a crinolin on underneath?

I love all of them!!! I think it was one of your creations that was the first Feliz I ever saw. (poor grammar, I know, does that sentence make sense?)

And her hair is perfect too!!

New Gaget I bought with my christmas gift certificate- more for quilters, or anyone who uses a ruler and rotary cutter.

Yes. She has her petti on underneath.:goodvibes
Cool gadget! I like gadgets!:thumbsup2

I almost didn't post mine because you had already posted yours! I see all my mistakes, and hesitated posting them!

Thank You!
I am just teasing you!
I am the same way I see everything that is wrong with mine!

I am so excited I just found out i should have also gotten a $75 shopping spree at the dealer I bought my machine at so I am going tomorrow and getting the big brother embroidery thread set because I can use the $75 toward that then the balance will be 40% off since that dealer give 40% off accessories for 30 days after you buy a machine! SoI will get the huge 62 spools of thread with the wooden stand for about $66:cheer2:
that means nothing in my house is safe everything may be embroidered!:rotfl2:

You did a great job, and your dd is sooo beautiful!

I did just realize with my new machine I need to switch to our vista program on out mac! UGH! what a pain oh well. George just needs to show me how to do that!

That looks great!! I love my Mac but just wish that all my software runs on it. I used to run a partition with Windows on it, but I find that it is just easier running my Windows based software on my laptop.

They are just beautiful! She is going to get tons of attention at WDW!

Here is Nik's vday outfit. I am not happy with the shirt:confused3 Though i was able to use Carla's updated elongated patter::yes::
th_IMG_0732.jpg
Cute! I like the elongated top. I've been adjusting the pattern myself but will have to download the new version to see how Carla does it.

Since school was cancelled, Leighanna wanted to do a photo shoot with the outfits I have done so far. I still have a few more planned, I just don't know if I will have enough time.

I love all your dresses but this one my absolute favorite! I've got that tink fabric sitting on my sewing table right now! What is the other fabric though? The dark one next to it with the pink and purple flowers. It looks carnival bloomish. I reaaaaaallllllly like it! :D :thumbsup2

She does it wonderfully of course!

i have ind of made my own too but I figured I would try hers:)

I love it too. Actually I have to credit my DH with the whole Mac thing but he was right.
He told me tonight he will show me how to run windows virtually so we will see.

I can't help you with your problem but I have a Mac. Thought I would share this with you though. I ordered a calendar through the iPhoto software from Apple and it came this week. In the past I have done calendars through Kodak and been very happy with them so I was concered that I would like the Apple one as much. I wanted to order the Apple one because I could add photos to the individual days. I've got to say I was blown away with how stunning this Apple calendar is. It is HUGE! And the picture quality is just excellent. I kind of rushed to make this one and now I'm thinking about using it at home and making a new one of just Disney photos for my office.

WOW! I was coming on to post Lily's Valentine's dress but now am feeling a little intimidated!

Marlo, I love Nikki's outfit! I think the peasant top looks great!

Tom, I love everything! And in that blue dress, Leighanna looks so young :lovestruc I love the fabric combination on the Tink dress!!!

Get ready for TOO MUCH LILYS!

So I bought the Feliz pattern months ago thinking I would use it to make Lily's Valentine's/Chef Mickey's dress. Cut to yesterday where I realize I don't have time to learn a new pattern, especially one I'm askeered of! So I cheated and made a Vida with ruffles.

I had to bribe Lily to model by letting her take her babies outside for a walk. And yes, her hair is wet :snooty:

DSCN3540-1.jpg

I should've outlined the gloves with black.

and I had to throw in this photo with her babies because today they were named "Minnie and Tessa" :rotfl2: Me thinks her mom spends to much time on the disboards.

Never too many Lily's!!!!!!

It is beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thanks for the idea on the peasant top! I tried to do the sleeves like you did for the one for Lily but I didn't have any elastic thread so I made casing for the elastic so I think that is what I don't like. Oh well...

Now why would you be afraid to post those? Those are too dang cute!
I love the idea of putting ruffles along the back. I have a Vida started for Leighanna, but I was having a hard time figuring what to put on the back.
Thanks to you, I think I know what I am doing!:thumbsup2 Hope you don't mind my CASEING your idea!:flower3:

This is the greatest I have ever seen! I really love it. I have issues with black mickey hands so love the white!

Look at her cute little socks with her cute little chuck's! Looks like it was a :beach: in Utah compared to the rest of the country! Atleast I hope sending that little girl out with wet hair!

I really love this! She will be a show stopper!

Well I am back from the store with my NEW machine!:jumping1: :jumping1:
the lady in the store even showed me how to use it!!!!!! It doesn't seem to hard! I traded in my old machine and got $200 for it and Brother started a rebate yesterday! So I will also get a $75 rebate!!!!!!! Now I just need to order thread! If any one is interested I got the Brother innov-is 900d
http://www.brother-usa.com/HomeSewing/ModelDetail.aspx?ProductID=nv900d

I had to stop at he Sewing Store, I like the brother bobbin thread and she's the only one that carries it around here. Anyway, I looked at this machine. It was a great price ($600) and then to get the deal you got!! Wow!! They got in a new Disney Embroidery machine, so new they didn't have the price on it. I was askeered to ask!:scared:

Love all the Lilly's!! :goodvibes The Feliz isn't bad. I only made one mistake. The ties were too short. How I did that, I will never figure out. But they were long enough to tie! phew!

I have 3 spools now of the bobbin thread so hopefully I will be set for a bit.

Has any one ever tried using coffee filters as a stabilizer in their machines? My sewing shop uses them for the samples and they looked great to me!
Idid buy some brother iron on stabilizer since I only had water soluble and tear away.

When I worked for a sewing machine shop and taught people how to use their machines, we used coffee filters all the time. They're great, except on knits. I wouldn't use anything but an iron on/tear-away on knits. Coffee filters are also very inexpensive.
And did you know that if you embroider on a towel you should put your stabilizer on both the front AND the back of the towel and actually embroider directly onto the stabilizer? Otherwise the towel's threads have a tendency to pull up through the design.

** On another note, the lady who collided with my son's car last month was NOT insured. She was driving a 2004 Nissan Armada - UNINSURED!! She told our insurance company that she and her husband are divorcing and he cancelled the insurance without telling her. No problem for her - her car was virtually unscathed. My son's BMW was totalled.

GRRRRRRRR!

I finished my first dress last night! :cool1:

I had some issues with the one seam - closing it up by hand - but, overall I'm very happy with how it turned out. It is the a-line dress pattern from YCMT's website that you all recommended. :thumbsup2

I also ran out to Joann's this morning & got some cute new fabric to play with & a couple of new patterns since they were 99 cents. :goodvibes Can't wait for it to come out of the dryer so I can make something else! :)

Going back to try to catch up with all the posts!

SHE IS ADORABLE!!!!! May I ask how old she is and what size you used?? I have to make a little dress for my cousins little girl.....

Lily and Leighanna look so cute!!! Love all the dresses!!!!

Daniel got discharged today! Fever is gone, so that is great! He was still able to have radiation both days he was in, and right now he is only getting chemo on tuesdays and radiation all 5 days.....he continues to progress from the surgery, with the exception of his speech - its very sparse and very garbled.....frustrating to him, which in some ways is encouraging, because that means he is in there and knows when things arent quite right! He has been complaining of a stiff neck and pain behind his ears - this is from the brace and positions they have to put him in for the radiation. But overall, not a bad week for the first week of full blown everything!!

I hope Attikus is starting to feel a bit better, or maybe even sleep!! :grouphug:

Wow that is bad. Did you have uninsured motorist on your policy? I found out much to my surprise that I do have it on mine.

Wendy I am so happy to hear that Daniel got to go home. I'm sure he was very happy about that.:cheer2:
