Is it this fridge or the other fridge? No one has picked it up since I left it? I still have the bell service ticket from it if you need it. Hopefully it will still be there. I texted the person who I was swapping with the day I left it at the bell service desk and she made it seem like she was picking it up... or maybe it was after that? Sorry, it's just frustrating, I really enjoyed having the fridge and hate to see it go missing when it can help tons of other people too.

The current swapper couldn't find it as she was expecting it to be at the Movies with her name but it sounds like it's still where you left it (SPORTS) with c88fly's information on it. Current swapper was given a fridge by Disney and probably will not hunt the fridge down to label it for Lindaowl1. Uggh.

Let me clarify what happened to me while I was just down in WDW this past week since what happened what misrepresented on this thread. I showed up to ASMo on the 19th and walked over to ASMu to get the fridge. We get there, ask for a fridge labeled for me and its not there. They call Sports and Movies, nope not there either. Since my laptop was not with me I had only the contact number of the swapper who was after me. The following day, the 20th, I called my friend at home who checked my email for me and told me eeyoregon's # and the # of the swapper before me. At around 3 pm I texted both of them, telling eeyoregon that the fridge was not where it was supposed to be and at none of the AS's and the previous swapper asking her what happened. At around 9 that night the previous swapper answers my text telling me that she never picked it up from Music and it should still be there in her name. Great to know after searching for it for a day. We were at a park at the time of finding out where it should be. That night eeyoregon called me and I told her what happened, after I had already texted her earlier in the day. I DID contact her. Tuesday morning we had plans to be out of the resort early and would not have been able to get the fridge until Tuesday night, late. At this point we had had enough of wasting our vacation time looking for the fridge. Had I been informed that the swapper before me never picked it up, this would have never happened. So Thursday, when it was my day to leave it for the next swapper, I texted her to tell her that it was still in ASMu in the name of the swapper BEFORE me. I never touched the fridge, never even laid eyes on it.

If not wanting to spend hours of my vacation walking back and forth, trying to find this fridge is wrong, let me know. I feel I did nothing wrong in this situation because I had no clue what was going on from the beginning. I got home a few hours ago and just signed on to the DIS and saw a PM from the swapper before me telling me it was in her name still. That would have helped if I went on the DIS before I left which I didnt. People need to have a little common courtesy, which I believe in this case, I did.

Yes, you did contact me and I appreciated it but unfortunately you didn't tell me you wouldn't be picking it up so I was under the impression that you had the fridge in your posession and had relabeled it and therefor did not know to warn the next swapper.

So Thursday, when it was my day to leave it for the next swapper, I texted her to tell her that it was still in ASMu in the name of the swapper BEFORE me.

Unfortunately the current swapper did not get your text/call and had no idea and she too spend precious time looking for it under the wrong name at the wrong resort. It's a shame that this train wreck had to occur because of the swapper before you.

Thank you for clearing that up Gina, I appreciate it. I'm sorry that the swapper after me did not receive the text I sent her. I certainly sent one to her the day she was to pick up the fridge because I didnt want her to go through the same thing I did. Sorry for any miscommunication that did occur and I sincerly hope the fridge is found.

So the last place the fridge was seen was when I brought it to bell services at All Star Sports. Are they sure it wasn't there in Bell Services at Sports? If no other swapper has picked it up since I left it then it has c88fly's name and address and phone number on it and SHOULD still be there.... what else would they do with it?

Gina, I'm just popping in to say what a wonderful job you've done to keep track of the fridge(s??) so far. I know how frustrating it can be when running a swap. You've been at it for a couple of years, so kudos to you! Fingers crossed that your fridge is found in one piece.....ours never was, and I suspect that it now has a new home not in WDW.
