This swap is a GO!

We have 12 people to share the cost.

The 1st swapper arrives August 8 so we don't have a lot of time to collect money and get the fridge ordered.

I will get the final cost of the fridge today and report back. I have a paypal account so that might be the best way to collect the money.

Point of Business: We need to choose a HOME resort for our fridge. I do not want to use the Movies as there are several other swaps based out of the Movies and I think the less confusion, the better chance our swap has of surviving. So, the MUSIC would make the most sense because it is located in the middle, thus making transporting the fridge equal distance to either of the other two resorts. The SPORTS is good because as far as I know there are NO other swaps based out of the Sports. I would appreciate help in this decision.

We would prefer the sports, as that is what the swap started as, and the reason we signed up. If it was at a different resort, we would probably bow out of this one, as we will have no means of transportation. Just my opinion, and again thanks for all of your work.

Thanks for the input. Please note that the bell desk will loan you a rolling luggage cart to transport the fridge and it works great. Sometimes the fridge will magically appear in the appropriate resort hotel room without even asking but you can't count on that. Others have called and asked the bell desk if they could deliver it to their resort and were successful (appropriate tipping of course).

I am hoping the 1st swapper gets back to me with which resort they are at...that might help in the decision making process because we will want to ship it to whichever resort the 1st person is staying at. We can of course change the HOME resort after that swapper.

I think that making Music the home resort is a good idea. Like you said, it is in the middle of the three resorts and thus equal distance to the other two All-Star resorts. Just my humble opinion.
