Closed but Active PaperBag Album Swap Check in Here!!!

I don't wanna know the end... la la la can't hear you.... I will not read the end first, and I'm guessing I'll have it finished sometime tomorrow.

I would never leak the ending of this magnitude. I promise.. I won't sleep tonight until I've read the entire book 9 hours and 15 minutes to go!

Could you log on and tell us if it's really, really good!!! I'll probably be up working on a swap!! Of course, puppy wake-up comes really early, too!

See, my other problem is that I haven't read book #6 yet! :headache: So, I'm really behind!! And, I do love the series. Everytime I see the Hogwarts train, I wish there was one here I could just hop on...But, when I try running into a brick wall I can't get through. Believe me, I've tried!!

You should get the CD Audio books! They are awesome :) I have all the movies, Audio books, books in hardback and paperback. I fell in love with these stories when they first came out (I was a children's Librarian in a public library)

One spring break I had a Harry Potter week, complete with a costume ball party at the end. I replicated the train too. Each day when the kids came up they received their Hogwarts Express train ticket, they were then led into a dimly lit room and sat down in chairs. Last call came " All aboard!" and the train would "take" off as the train whistle blew and the train music started. I even had a strobe light flicker every once in awhile to get the feeling of passing through sunlit trees.

When the train arrived they entered into the main part of the room and were divided into their houses which is where they sat all week long. We made wands & Wizard/Witch hats.

I found a chocolate store who made chocolate frogs, I painted nuts and bolts to replicate the money. We played harry potter jeopardy. The funniest though was when I had to contest of Bertie Botts beans! I searched every where until I found jalapeño ones. It was priceless!

I had so many activities that week for them it was amazing and such a blast. It was by far my most successful Spring break week. I'd love to scrap those pictures some time.

That's a great idea to get caught up by getting the CD audio books!! I think I will do that. I could listen to them while I'm driving since I do a lot of driving for work appointments. I could also listen while I'm working on swaps. I would then actually read the books when I have time because I like that experience, too. Thanks for the suggestion.

I suppose you have to have a reservation for a book to get one tonight? I know all our stores are going to be open really late. It's just 2hrs 15 min from now. My brother is also a HP nut, but he lives far away!

I would have loved to have been to your party!! Those are the kind of parties I love doing...getting really detailed with the food and decorations!!

I'm over 2/3 through now and I've had to put it away a) to catch up here but b) so my kids don't ask why I'm :sad1: and using all the tissues:lmao: I've already had to stage a couple of refreshment breaks:rotfl2: DH is next in line and DS(13) is half-way through number 5 and moaning because he'll be camping for a week and get behind again.

I went to our local walmart 1.5 hours ahead of time. I was the 3rd person to get a book. I got home made snacks for my guys and settled on the couch. I was hoping to stay up and read it all night but having been up since 430am it wasn't happening. I have the audio book to so I can listen while I scrapbook.

So far the book is awesome though!

I have finished both albums now, I am very happy with how they turned out. AWM & Yodasmom - I truelly hope you enjoy your books I had a blast working on them.

WARNING Pictures: Don't peek if you want it to be a surprise.

I looked at AWM's....It's darling, Kat!! I'm excited to see mine when it comes! I'm still working.

I peeked at BOTH. (And yes, I read the last line of the book before I read it last night)

Kat, they look awesome!! I'll post pics of the two I made for you guys later. They are both completely different, so looking at one will not help with what yours looks like. ;)

Those are both super cute! I didn't take pictures of my summer ones before I mailed. oops. :)

I've got 2 more pages to finish tonight..and than to adhere them to the bags..and snap photos and off they go.. I'll be mailing these tomorrow afternoon w/ the slide mount swap!

Here is Yodasmom just dog album

Clicking on the picture should take you to the slide show. Let me know if it doesn't work.

Mine are boxed (making progress!) and will be at the post office tomorrow.

This is the last one, the Pixar album. I believe I have shown examples from all the groups now. And Maria doesn't have to take photos of my albums. :)
