I have a couple of questions about your plans and preferences for the Epcot books.....And let me tell you, this is hard to write because I'm wrestling an 11 week old puppy in my lap....Trying to give him a change of scenery in another room without allowing his feet to touch the floor (ie: damage control in advance)!

Since the pages will be really small and because you've indicated your planning to do on page for each country, are you making really small photo mats (like what size?). Are you doing any journal boxes? That's hard to do while also allowing room for a photo. Are you going to put a small topper on each page announcing the country?

I'm thinking of doing the Epcot books at the same time I do a Bazzill Epcot swap I'm in..........That way I will kill 2 birds with one stone....next month, that is!

On my pages, I'm going to try to just decorate the pages so you know exactly which country it is... I probably will do a small title for the country..
I wasn't planning on doing any photo boxes or journal boxes on the pages.. that way it would allow you to decide what size photo and j.box you wanted.
Since was have 4 pockets, I'm going 11 tags and those tags will be decorated for the specific country (either charm, ribbon, flag, etc).. that way you can journal about that specific country on that tag. Then I'll figure out what I need to add for the other pocket fillers.

Oh, and his name was changed to "Disney" for good. Pluto just wouldn't come out of my mouth for him. Mostly, I call him Diz or Dizzy or Dizzy Boo. I had him micro-chipped last Friday, so it's all official and I also told the breeder. He's got the mustache and everything!

I was thinking about the same, I was going to do an element on each page with colors/ribbon/paper to match each country, then spell the country name out on the page somewhere, I thought that would be nice. Tags and/or File Folders would be used as well for extra pictures or journaling. I don't want to use photo mats, just in case you print your own photos like I do! I can print any size and place where I want!

Well, thanks for clarifying the name change... I'd hate to send mail to Pluto and have Diz reject it!!!
Diz should be easy for me to remember being blonde et al!

Maria, it was a hefty bag, so please let me know how much extra postage you will need - I guess I should have weighed it BEFORE going to the PO For the summer albums, two have US stuff (flags, 4 July etc) and one does not - I've labelled this one to come back to me as, for some strange reason, we don't celebrate 4 July

For the Epcot (World Showcase) books only, we're using 4 bags so we can have one page per country, etc.

Yes, you should only have 3 pockets... we are using an extra bag for Epcot only so that we could have one page for each country, including the Outpost. I will post pictures when I complete mine..they are still on the sketch pad! So, yes you are right with only 3 pockets!!!!

Me too! Every time I see something nautical I've bought it!

Now that I have the altered paper clip swap sent out. I'm going to really get going on my bags this week. I'm taking 7/2 & 3 off, so I can get dd to choir practice for the July 4th parade. So have some time to play!

dd goes to camp july 7th and in theory dh "should" be home by july 6th so my plan is to finish the books the week of the 8th. maggie
