clock going backwards!

My clock is keeping time, but it is actually going backwards! I changed the battery, but the same. I would like to get it fixed, but not spend alot! Anyone ever heard of this??

No I've not heard of this but is it a big wall clock? Somtimes my clock slows down. I change the batteries and it still can't keep up with the correct time. It seems to go on for maybe a week and a half to two weeks then all of a sudden it keeps perfect time. My friend said she has heard that sometimes something in the atmosphere messes up big wall clocks. Have no idea if it's true but I'm going with it. How long has your's been messed up?

No, it is a smaller one on my stand, the second hand is actually going the opposite way. I thought I was crazy and had my son and husband look at it, too!
It was fine until the other day I noticed it stopped and today I put in a new battery and now backwards!

It sounds strange, but I have seen some electronics with motors that go backward when the polarity of the power source is switched. I had a starter motor that, when I did this, would go in the opposite direction. I would check the battery again and make sure it's not in backwards, that's a possibility.

We used to have an electric wall clock that did that. Every time the power went out and came back on, it would run backwards! We had to unplug and plug it in again for it to run forward!

You might want to take the battery out of your clock and reinsert it. If that doesn't work, check to be sure the battery is going the right direction. I put the batteries in my little fan the wrong way once (the one I have for WDW), and it RAN backwards! Couldn't figure out why it wasn't creating a breeze! *LOL*

I saw this on phenas and Ferb and if you call dr duffinsmerits get the GPC cords for the tri state area, you just may be able to time travel if Perry talks!!

I'm gonna second the pp who said to check that the battery is put in correctly. If it's in backward sometimes it does that. I vaguely remember my mom one time putting a clock battery in backward and the clock went backward. It does that to my handheld fan as well.

Definitely sounds like the batteries are in backwards. I have had some toys (trains & cars) that went backwards when the batteries were in wrong.
