cliques

im sort of confused about how the cliques work around here. ive seen people post that there are cliques, but i cant tell whos in which, or that there even are. the only sign that they have even been considered here is that people dont talk to me. when i post, im ignored. i have only been here for a little while, but this whole time ive been trying to figure this whole clique thing out. if someone could explain this to me, that would be much appretiated.

i've been on here for two+ years.
and i don't see the cliques.

yes. people are friends and they are very open about it.

but that doesn't make them cliques that don't accept people.

Jump into conversations and you will get known.
People will know who you are then and you will fit in more. :]
That's what I did.

And the whole cliques thing, I don't really think we have them, I guess it's just we hang out on certain threads.
Like...

All of us over at the Harry Potter thread are a really tight knit group.
I guess you could call us a clique, but not like highschool ones, we welcome anybody and we talk to everyone. We just post over there because we have the same intrests and we know each other better.

Or on the Twlight thread.
Or the Food Network thread we had awhile back. [Miss that thread I do. =(]
I don't really call them cliques though.
Everyone welcomes everyone here from what I have seen.

well, i guess that makes sense. it just sort of harder than it seems to mesh here. i have an easier time at high school (but there it comes easy). oh well, i can always use a good challenge

There are no cliques, there are just people who have been friends for a while or who share the same interests. Most people are very accepting of new members so when you feel you have something to share just jump on in and join the conversation.

lol join my clique! there is a total of 1 member so far lol...

but yea, just jump into convos.. the same people will always hang out at the same threads like someone mentioned earlier.. so find a thread that suits your interest, join in, and keep posting.. youll eventually be friends with everyone in that thread
