We are going to WDW Sunday and I want to get a clip on fan to put on the stroller for the baby, but I have no idea where to find one. Can anyone help??

I think my daughter got ours at either Babys R Us or Buy Buy Baby. I would try any large baby store. Don't forget the extra batteries, we had to buy extra batteries at Seaworld, could have bought a large pack for what we paid for 2, also check and see if you need a small screwdriver to replace batteries, because we didn't realize until we went to replace them. It was a great thing to have, especially when baby fell asleep (it circulated the air in the stroller) another tip I got from reading all these boards, bring an ice pack (pack in your suitcase, unfrozen) and slide it between back of stroller seat and frame of stroller (you will see there is a pocket there) it kept the stroller a little cooler, not cold enough for babies back to be cold, just a little cooler. Worked great.

HAVE FUN!

We just got back from WDW yesterday and we stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter. They had a really cool clip on fan in the gift shop. The "cage" for the fan was shaped like a Mickey head, the flexable "neck" was red, and the clip part looked like Mickey's white gloves. It was not too big and not too small, just the right size for a stroller. I thought it was very cool but I didn't have a baby to buy it for. I want to say it was around $15-16... something like that. Maybe you can call your resort gift shop ahead of time to see if they have one available.

I bought mine from Wal-Mart and I am sure glad I did! It made a huge difference for the kids!

I have seen the "wallmart" example that Iri920 posted at wallmart, target and even 5 below recently. Don't worry though as the gift shops have a similar (and more expensive) Diseny verson you can get at the gift shop when you arrive.

Remember to bring LOTS of extra batteries, IIRC double A because they really burn through batteries - another expensive item if purchased at WDW.

We took our clip on fan to the zoo first to try it out. Our son would not leave it attached to the stroller. He kept removing it. So for us it was a waste of money.

We did end up takng it to Disney along with a spray mister fan and also 2 necklace fans. To me, the spray mister fan put out more breeze than the stroller fan.

Have fun on your trip. I hope you can find your fan. I think I ordered ours over the internet.

It is really more useful while they are asleep, you can direct it towards the head to circulate the air inside the stroller hood, while they are awake it is just a toy to them so they will play with it, we just left it on the handle of the stroller while he was awake.

Good to know! I'm afraid I'm out of season here, but if I can't find one, I'll check the gift shop when we arrive. Thanks.

The baby is six weeks old so I think we are safe there! I plan to get a mister fan for my eight year old daughter though.

In addition to bringing batteries for the fan, make sure to bring a small screwdriver if you need one to remove the battery compartment cover.

THe Mikey shape fans do not work very well, unless you put it right up to your face, my daughter has it to look at, instead we have a WDW mister fan that we put over the bar on her stroller (the trigger is a perfect fit).
We keep some water in it depending on what angle she needs it at, in the summer it is on all the time, when it is a bit cooler just when she sleep.
With a misting fan you do not need to carry a screwdriver!!

Our Wal-Mart didn't have them but walmart.com has them (Kelgar fan) for $9.57 and, if you ship site to store, there is no S/H. Mine should be in this week! :thumbsup2
