Firstly, sorry if this is in the wrong place, couldn't see where else to put it and this is an active board.

So...anyone been here? Views? I'm thinking of booking their Day With A Dolphin for my children - although it's actually 10am to 1.00pm - which I'd call a 1/2 day, but anyway!

Thanks in advance...

I went there a few years ago and the place was a little run down, but the marine life seemed well-treated. I saw that they were getting donations to build a new center, but I'm not sure if that's been done.

I think I'd prefer going to the Florida Aquarium in Tampa. It's a lot nicer.

Thanks for your thoughts Barry.

As far as I can tell it's only a small place with an emphasis on education and 'saving' various marine mammals. We're happy to support that.

We're actually just taking a weekend out of our 2 week trip to Orlando to stay in Clearwater for a change of pace and to see the beach/Gulf Coast. I thought this little 'experience' might be a nice thing for the children - we're staying only a few minutes from the CMA. I'll look into the aquarium at Tampa.

A few days later we'll be doing the Dolphin Swim at Discovery Cove, which I imagine will be quite amazing! :)

Again, thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts.
