Clearwater and Daytona Beach Hotels

I realize this is the Orlando thread, but I didn't know where else to post this.

After our stay at DW we are going to Clearwater for 3 nights and going back to the other coast and staying at Daytona for 3 nights.

Does anyone have any hotel suggestions in either location? We would like to be on the beach if possible.

Do you have kids with you? If not, the August Seven Inn in Daytona is a very nice guest house and it's walking distance from the beach.

We stayed at the Hyatt in Clearwater for my brother-in-law's wedding and it was very nice.

Right over the Daytona Beach line, we stayed here last December and will definitely be back. Great suite, nice staff, right on the beach - also prices were reasonable!

A new Clearwater Beach hotel that is getting high reviews is the Pier House 60 Marina Hotel. It is centrally located, overlooks the Marina and has a great view of the beach!
