Does anyone know what the villas or area is like at Clear Creek at the end of the 192. The brochure says it is a 15 min drive to Disney. previously we stayed in Indian Ridge which is very well situated :D

We stayed at Clear Creek on our last visit and the location was ideal IMHO.

It took between 15 - 20 minutes to get to Disney and we encountered no delays during the fortnight we were there.

The estate is made up of holiday villas and local american families. As you enter the estate there is a Winn Dixie Supermarket and a number of other stores including a Pizza house that will deliver.

I'm sure you'll enjoy the area.

We are staying at Clear Creek in August so I'll keen to hear what you thought when you get back.

I've heard nothing but good reports so let's hope they are right;)

Thanks for the replys , its interesting to note my timer has the least days to go....LOL :p
I am new to this forum, and indeed only came across it through reading Brits Guide To Orlando, which I would not be without.
This will be my third visit to Orlando, and second time in a villa.
Last year we stayed at the Sleep Inn, which was cheap and cheerful, but I love the comfort and flexability that a villa affords.
Craig I will certainly let you know what the area is like, although sound fantastic already.....

Although by the look of out counters we'll be there around the same time?

I'm very exicited as I just booked the Dolphin Swim at Discovery Cove - and I hate water and swim like a brick LOL But this sounded too good to miss. We're going on DH's b'day which falls while we're there (I've got to phone to add the birthday package to our day) and I'm keeping it a surprise for the whole family. So excuse my blathering, I just had to tell someone! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

We stayed at Clear Creek in January. We liked it so much we bought a villa there! We found it very easy to get to the parks and it was good to have facilities such as Winn Dixie, bank, post office, pizza takeaway etc close by.

neo's white rabbit,

A friend from work went to Discovery Cove last year and said it was fantastic and worth every penny, I've thought about it this year but going with a group and trying to please everyone is not easy, especially when some of them are on a tight budget. Maybe
we should leave them in the villa LOL....:p
We would love to buy a villa, and Clear Creek sounds great.
Can't wait till May 10'th when we fly with JMC in their Premium Cabin of course, and then stay in our executive villa....:bounce:
one likes ones little comforts.......:)

ratticus - I know what you mean, we have a friend joining us from Italy who is on a tight budget, so we are having to find creative ways around this issue, my children are geared up for theme parks, no way around that!

I don't think I've heard anyone not rave about DC.

I'll look forward to your trip report and how you felt about your villa and it's location. I'm already thinking next trip and we've not been on the May one yet! LOL
