cleaning pins?

Does anyone have a method for cleaning pins? I was packing one up today to mail out and it is a bit dirty. It is one of the Cameo pins. I rubbed the worst off, but I want it to be very clean before trading it.

Also, what about cleaning Free D? I got a pin last week with white Free D and it is quite dirty! Any ideas?

I would use a non-abrasive soap or cleaner... Like dove or a soft soap...

But we wash quite a number of pins in the pockets of our jeans and shorts -- especially after a trip to WDW.

We use Tide Free and Clorox II in our washing machine.

use a car wax made for clearcoat paint. This will clean & polish the enamel and the plating with a shine better than new..
