So, here I sit. I have 2 bathrooms to clean today. And I'm dreading it.

I don't mind cleaning the sink or even the toilet - but I HATE cleaning the shower/tub. It's so hard to reach everything.

What's your most dreaded bathroom cleaning chore?

my b rother and i alternate cleaning the bathroom becuase no one likes to do it! !the worst part for me is the tub too...ehh what a pain!

LOL, grinningghost, it's too bad you and I can't get together on our chores. We could swap your bathrooms for my folding and putting away laundry, which is the thing I hate.

I must be the only person in the world who doesn't mind cleaning the bathrooms (I have 2 boys, 1 DH, and 3 bathrooms that we actually use on a regular basis.). To me, they are the quickest thing to clean. But I would have to agree with you, the bathtub and shower take up the most time....

THE TUB!!

EW!

I hate *touching* anything. I can clean just about everything else without touching much, but the tub is hard. Last time I got very creative with a big pitcher of water and a squirty thing of cleaner. it worked!

I hate cleaning the toilet. I have 2 boys that don't have very good aim.:crazy2:

The tub and shower walls are the worst part for me. What a pain to get in there and try to manuever (sp?) in such a small area!

I too need to clean my master bathroom. Here I sit on this board instead of getting it done.

As far as the tub is concerned....I just take off my shoes and climb in and scrub the walls then get out and scrub the tub. The thing that makes it easy, is my hand held shower massage. It makes rinsing the tub so much easier. Just hold it in my hand and spray down the walls and tub. I have one in everybath tub in my house!

The thing I don't like about cleaning the bathroom is the floor. I have bad knees. Getting down on my knees to scrub the floor is not a chore I care for. Although I clean all my bathrooms and kitchen floor with a rag. I don't own a mop. You can't clean in the corners and right up next to the wall and just under the stove with a mop. Also you can't see the dirt good unless your down next to it.LOL

Guess all this comes from the days when I use to clean house for others. Old habits die hard!

One boy and one DH, I hate the toilet too! DS is learning to
do it. :p

The TUB!!

I spray it down with Scrubbing Bubbles and let it sit, but still have to get down on my knees and scrub. IMHO there is no such thing as "Just rinse it off"!! It hasn't worked for me at least

Almost there! :)

Ladydancer, so do I!!

I moved from Sweden to the U.S. in 1999, first thing I did was buy the handheld showers, it is standard over where I'm from and I absolutely hated taking a shower without the handheld.

:sunny:

I hate cleaning period, but must agree that the tub/shower is the hardest part of the job! All that bending and reaching. ick.
( I did the sink and toilet this am.... still thinking about the tub:eek: )

I have had mine for a very long time. My first house I had them installed in the early 80's. When we moved to this house in 1986 I bought them for all the bathrooms and had the plummer install them when they were building the house.

When my children moved away from home they all bought one. They are so handy, I can't believe everybody doesn't have one.

Arguing with my daughter about when she's planning on getting around to doing it! ;)

I love my handheld showerhead. I even got them when I rented. Each time I moved rental places I left it there and got a nice ne one!

They're so handy when you have kids and you need to do quick clean-ups of them.

The thing I hate most is cleaning the toilet. Yucky! 2 boys and 1 DH will do it everytime!

Also I forgot those hand held shower massages are great for rinsing childrens hair. Especially long hair. My granddaughers have very long thick hair. I have to wash rinse and then condition and rinse. I don't know how I would be able to do there hair without it. I had it when my daughter was young too. As I said I have had one for 20+ years.

Ha! I just did my three toilets, next is the master bath tub. It has a rough surface bottom and it gets so gross! I have to use a scratchie pad on it along with lots of comet cleanser. Nothing else works. So I would say the master bath tub is the worst.

I have three bathrooms to clean also. I hate the entire cleaning bathroom thing. Makes me wish for an outhouse at times (until winter comes LOL).

Our masterbath has a two person whirlpool tub (DH uses it weekly) and a shower stall. Both are a pain in the behind (and back).

I will clean the other bathrooms first then clean ours last. When the shower stall is finally cleaned (I usually clean this in the buff), I'll just take a shower to get clean myself from all the cleaning.

I guess it kind of defeats the purpose though. Oh well.

I have a 7 y/o son - definitely the toilet. I don't know where he's looking when he's going to the bathroom.
