All i can say is WOW!!!! This trip is going to be better than ever - thanks to all of you!!! Thanks for all the kind words -
You will never know what it is like to travel to Disney with someone with special needs until you do it yourself. IT IS WONDERFUL!!! and i highly recommend it to everyone!
I have traveled to WDW LOTs of times with my own family growing up and three times with my own children so far - but traveling with this group was SO MAGICAL! They truley BELIEVE!!! I had goofy call one of the guys on his birthday for a wake up call and he STILL talks about it! We went to MNSSHP and danced with chip and dale during the dance party and the cast members kind of made a circle around us so that we could have a little private time - they also made sure that one of the girls in the wheelchair got to have her "dance" with the characters. We also got a private meeting with the princesses in toontown without wait - and the BOYS enjoyed that VERY MUCH!!! My face hurt so much by the end of the trip from smiling so much.
Also the other visitiors were so GREAT to our group - talking with them about fire depts, thier home towns, what they liked about the trip - just wonderful!!!
So thanks again from the bottom of our Hearts!! You really are making a difference in their lives!!! They will remember this forever!

I would love to help you out. I've worked a lot in special education as an assistant and am currently finishing up my moderate/severe SPED credential, so I always like to do anything I can do for individuals with special needs. Please feel free to PM me with any mailing information and I will see what I can find. I may even have some previous Disney Happy Meal toys. I'll have to check. When are you planning on having the trip? I want to make sure that I send things in time. I think it's awesome what you're doing, and really, it inspires me for my future classroom.
