classic pass-buy w/family discount in Paris + calculate 2nd/3rd day after purchase?

if we buy a classic pass on a thursday, is it good for Sunday or not until Monday? also, can I buy these anywhere in Paris or online from the USA and get family discount or only at the gate? thanks, Elaine

I'm fairly sure you get the 20% family discount for buying 5 or more if you buy in advance by post. If you do this the 2 non-contractual days will be over by the time you receive them. If you aren't able to buy them through the post in advance (as per Anemone's post above) then if you want the 20% off family discount for buying 5 APs at the same time, for members of your immediate family, you'll have to buy them at the park gates. This means if you buy them on a Thursday, you can use them that day, but then Friday and Saturday are blocked out. You will all have to be there on Thursday, with all your photo ID (ie all your passports) so the APs can be made up for you at the AP office inside the park.

soyou can use them the 1st day you buy them? then not on day 2 or 3? very bizarre. of oucrse, our 1st day is blacked out! And then we only have 3 days left on our trip.

You can use them on day 1 even if its a blackout day if you buy them on that day
