Classic Disney customer service alive and well!

My friend just went to wdw for a last minute trip with her young daughter and two nieces. They flew down late Sunday with reservations at an off propertycondo/resort. Upon arrival at 230am they checked in to discover roaches and roach traps on the unit. The girls freaked out. My friend did manage to get them to sleep but she was up all night. She called the main Disney number begging for any accommodations. She was able to secure. Room at the poly and left the roach condo early am they were all exhausted and very sad. Then they checked in to the poly and it all turned around, they were greeted so warmly with the buttons and all, they were thrilled. Then came the best part, got a call from the front desk later that afternoon saying that they had heard about all the drama she and the girls had had the night before so they were giving them one night free! Now that's the Disney I know and love. Happy to report they are having a ball.Just wanted to share! My friend was so happy with the resort she was almost crying when she called me, and that was before the free night.
