I'm taking Marketing You right now and if I didn't have to take it, I wouldn't be. Don't get me wrong, it provides you with a lot of useful information and tools to use for the "real world" such as networking skills...but it's a 4 hour class that I'd rather be spending at work and I've noticed that most of what is said in those 4 hours are things that could be said in under 2 hours lol. Aside from that, we're given quite a bit of outside work and I'm finding it very difficult to get the assignments done because when I'm not in class, I'm working. It's possible to get it all done (I'm taking two classes right now) but it really does soak up every bit of your time! Especially if you don't own a car. On the positive side, it forces you to go out there and talk to people in higher positions which could help you if it's something you normally wouldn't feel comfortable doing. Personally, I could do without the class.
