8th or 9th? When do you start school?

I don't get my schedule till homeroom on the first day. Which I find out from a sheet of paper on the wall.
The district goes back on the day after labor day, but the thing is, is last year they had all the freshman do orientation the first day, so we started on the Wednesday rather than the Tuesday.

Hi. I'm Michelle

I'm gonna be a junior and I'm pretty nervous about it. The whole ACT/college prep thing is really freaking me out.

And I'm taking my first AP class so that's pretty freaky too. Otherwise I'm excited to go back to school to hang out and get back into the swing of things with people I'm used to seeing.

Oh, our freshman orientation is usually the friday before school starts. We usually start the day after labor day as well, but this year they decided to start earlier, but the two days before labor day are half days? I honestly think I'd prefer it the regular way.

Yeah, I probably would too.
I have no idea why they did orientation at my school. We always do ours in May, it's called May Day. Our orientation at the beginning of the school year is when Stu Gov and clan leaders take the grade nines to a park and do activities like rock climbing and hiking and stuff like that. It's not fun.
I assume the reason why they took that day was because the other high schools in the district were doing it...
Not sure. I wasn't happy last year, I had a terrible summer. So when I was told I had to wait an entire other day...
Hilary wasn't pleased.

IB English HL, Spanish Lab, IB Physics HL, History Lab, IB Math A1, IB History SL, IB Bio HL, IB Spanish SL, Advanced Experimental Design, and LEAP.

IB Physics HL. Lol Good luck with that. I took SL last year and just barely got an A with a 5 on the IB exam (clearly science isn't my thing..)

IB English HL 1 sucks hard so have fun with that too.

I'm taking Bio HL this year too!
