Clarion Hotel Maingate.......Info Please

hi i am going to orlando in less than a week and i'm trying to find out information on the hotel i am staying in i have a disability (i use a wheelchair) so i also need to know how close attractions are and restaurants, convenience stores, etc... i am looking at going to splendid china, medevil times dinner and tournament, hopefully a pool hall (if i can find one), hot air ballooning, and anything else i can find if anyone knows any good places close to the hotel or places with good handicap accessibility please let me know thank you fellow DISers

I can't answer a lot of your questions, but I can tell you about this hotel. We stayed for a few nights in December. It is a decent hotel with pretty big rooms. We had a 2 doubles room and when you first walked in the door there was a couch that pulls out into a bed. Then a little half wall tha the bathroom then there are the 2 beds. It was clean and in pretty good shape.

There is a restuarant that we did not try, although we did try the tiki bar out by the pool for chicken strips....good strips and lot of food. There is a tiny gift shop in the lobby of the hotel.

I think I remember seeing the Medevil times theater, but it was quate a distance away on the other side of the Disney enrance. It is about a 15 minute ride to the parking lots of the parks.
