Clarification on using banked points from 2020

I'm sure this question was covered earlier than now, but I can't find the info I am looking for. We have 119 points left from 2020 (use year Feb). We were just simply going to roll them over to 2021 and use them next year. However, I seem to remember reading something about only being able to use 50% of banked points next year. So, if I am understanding this right, we would lose about 60 points if we bank 119. So basically, no matter how many we bank into 2021, we'll lose 50% with this rule? Am I correct on this?

The policy is in relation to borrowed points. You can only borrow 50%

Banked points are still the same rules. All can be used.

I just learned about this today. I was grandfathered in when I reserved my Nov. trip in Jan. BUT I MODIFIED AFTER THE NEW POLICY! Today my Poly waitlist came through so again I modified. Even though it was less points then my home resort Reservation I was not able to use the all my points from 2021. So, they were put back in 2021 and I had to buy 9 points. I was SOoooooooo confused as the CM tried explaining but, now I understand. She did say you can bank 100% of your points. She did however hint that the 50% limitation may only be a temporary situation.

You are are allowed to modify and keep the points which were grandfathered in but only if you get them in a new reservation prior to them being returned. Once returned, they are subject to the limit.
