clarification kids vs adults on DxDP

Let me get this straight...
Example.. 2 adults and 3 kids staying @ POR all on DxDP. Parents live in Orlando and will be taking kids and allowing quite a few date nights for us. Last evening, there will be 4 DxDP kids credits remaining. Technically, could DH and myself use those for dinner at Narcoosees since all credits are pooled and not differentiated??

If the rumored changes are true, then, yes you can. But I would be asking at the concierge BEFORE dinner to be sure I didn't get hit with that dinner bill.

DxDDP credits have always been pooled. Now we are able to discuss this strategy on disboards because it is, apparently, officially approved by Disney. On our last trip, we ran low on DxDDP credits so I used credits to charge my meal and paid OOP for my DS's meal...several times. His kid's credits were, theoretically, the only ones left but it didn't matter because they were, and always have been, pooled.
